Royal Worcester Jug
Just imagine this on your tea tray!
Its a little porcelain milk jug – 3 inches high, just under 3 inches across the top (at narrowest point) and about 2.5 inches across the base.
We know nothing about Worcester but we guess this may date from the 1950s? If you know better please tell us! The marks on the base are rather hard to read.
It is colourful, in perfect condition and the paint – which we assume is hand-done stands up a little – giving it a texture you can feel – the effect is a bit jewel like. The rim, handle and base have gilding. The porcelain is translucent.
We regret we are not able to provide milk with this item – it might spill in the post.
