This is a pretty bowl measuring 7.5 inches in diameter (that’s about 19cms), depth about 1.5ins (4cms)
We reckon it is late 18th or early 19th century Chinese (but are prepared to be corrected by you experts out there). It has gilding round the rim and more just inside the bowl.
It is very seriously cracked (see photo) and it looks as if someone has tried to glue it.
There are also a few chips in the rim.
It needs someone to take pity on it and do an expert repair.
This is a pretty thing, and it could be a very pretty thing….
We will send it anywhere in the world – with some trepidation -
And if you feel it is we who are cracked asking £12 for it... why not make us an offer?
