This exquisite little wood carving shows three happy men on their way home from the: pub/office party. It is cleverly carved and skilfully painted.
We are not sure what their costume is … we suspected it came from the Austrian Tyrol, however a quick search seemed to indicate that shorts would be more in order than the trousers these three are sporting, And their hats are mildly strange as well. We have no doubt that some nice kind person out there in Cyberspace will email us and put us right – at least we hope they will.
And what do these three look like from the front? Best not to ask .......however for the truly curious
