Bank of England

This magnificent coat was made by the world famous Savile Row firm of Gieves and Hawkes Ltd. It was almost certainly sported by the commissionaire of THE BANK OF ENGLAND when this august institution was visited by no less than Her Majesty the Queen  in 1984 (or so we have been led to believe). Sadly by the time got hold of it, the coat had suffered a visitation from a large number of the Tineola Bisselliella family and all that left was a pile of fluff and what you can see in the photo… (plus one extra button that had tried to escape and was later found rolling around on the floor)

14 Buttons made by Gaunt of London

I Gieves and Hawkes Label

Pile of fluff not included

Price is less than £3 per button...... a snip .............
