Chance favours the prepared mind! (Louis Pasteur 1854)
You never know when the car belonging to the Queen will break down outside your front door and you will be prevailed upon to provide tea and cucumber sandwiches eh? Hey Presto! You could whisk these out of the cabinet, give them a quick spit and polish and … Bob’s your Uncle*.
These oh-so-classically elegant items are made of solid hallmarked silver by Walker & Hall
They are in good condition although a a touch of polish would not go amiss….
Height: sugar basin about 3 inches, cream jug about 2½ inches
Weight (the two together):
The price is for the two together - we will not separate them.
*This phrase meaning that an endeavour will be successful probably dates from 1887 when A.J.Balfour was unexpectedly promoted to the vital front line post of Chief Secretary for Ireland by his uncle Robert, Lord Salisbury.
A note for burglars: we have a very large, very bad dog with a particular liking for buttocks.
