Mmmmmmmmmmm nice. These field dressings – happily unused – are dated July 1941 and February 1942 respectively. They have been re-packaged in polythene bags October 1953 – with strict instructions that they are not to be opened until required for use. We have left them in these bags.
The once pristine white linen has turned a manky ocre hue leading one to suspect that if the item were to be used some profoundly lethal blood poisoning episode would ensue.
Use them at your peril.
As interesting items they have some allure and would make a perfect present for someone born in July 1941 or February 1942 – so buy them quick!
The price is £3 each.
We will defend this price to the bitter end and neither negotiate nor surrender.
