A very rare corkscrew

£5.00

Ephemera or what?  This corkscrew is likely to be the last of its kind in existence.. Dirty, rusty and not really fit for purpose it is far too interesting to be chucked into the bin.  Around its grubby wooden barrel is a list of the LMS hotels….For those of you who are young or ignorant or both, Google will tell you that LMS stands for  – Latin Mass Society,.  While not being a lie, this is unhelpful.  Anyone with half a head knows that LMS stands for LONDON MIDLAND SCOTTISH – a famous early railway company.  Therefore this choice item will appeal to corkscrew collectors as well as railway anoraks…. And if you know someone who is both of these things,,,, buy this quick before someone else does…it is our belief that there are hundreds of such folk out there…..
