You may be wondering why we keep offering you pieces by E. Radford? No? Well we are going to tell you anyway. We think they are simply revolting and we really don’t want them cluttering up our cyber shop any longer. Ok? Satisfied?
But we know for a fact that out there, there are E. Radford fans – loads of them. There is even an E. Radford collectors club so we expect this choice item to be snapped up willy nilly* and it has been priced to sell.
On the base are the words E. Radford, Burslem. The number 224 relates to the shape, MY is the pattern and B presumably refers to the base colour – which is blue.
This Art Deco vase seems to be in perfect condition – presumably because all previous owners have kept it firmly at the back of the cupboard….
Serious offers considered seriously
* Interesting one this…. It really depends whether you want to embrace Latin: nolens, volens, or Old English: wile hē, nyle hē (will he or will he not)
