This is a wonderful little book – written for children and dedicated to New Riders.
It contains all you need to know about buying, riding and looking after a horse.
First published in 1937 – this edition dates from 1945 and it is a ‘war economy standard’ production. This means that the paper is a tad rough.
Illustrated with 22 pages of black and white photos.
In reasonably good condition if slightly grubby. It is a hardback and has no dust jacket and it looks as if a page is missing from inside the front cover – this is not a significant loss.
120 pages of well written, no nonsense advice.
