Wade Hedgehog Trinket Dish

Legs?  Questionable…. Could lead to a deep philosophical debate…… whatever…. Who cares?   This really nice Wade porcelain hedgehog is not what it seems. For Lo! The back takes off to reveal a useful space to put things in. What things? I hear you cry….. Well your hedge fund for starters….hahaha.

Of course as any fool knows the late 13th century word for this wondrous beast was yrichon (or urchin) and those of you roaming the wilds of Cumbria, Yorkshire and Shropshire still use this word. How quaint.

Just off perfect condition – a couple of wee frits that can be felt but not seen.

Measures about 105mm nose to tail
