many fans who write to us to complain that they have just spent the last 3
hours browsing our site….If you are not one of these but have merely just
arrived you will not yet be aware that we at Cybergrot.com have a weakness for
feel is a classic example: an ancient
ink bottle produced by H C Stephens of Aldersgate Street, London.
on the side is rather obscured by ink so we have given up trying to read it…
The ink itself is long ago dried up and the cork stopper seems a tad swollen. We
have declined to shove it fully back in for fear of breaking it……..
on the internet has told us that people collect these things so rather than
consign it to the dustbin we are offering it at a realistic price… and will of
course be open to offers….
including a good layer of dust free of charge.
It is about
3½ inches high and our guess is that it is late Victorian…
thing or what?
